Looking upwards

Having a great group of friends who share the same interest and notes and tips it is fun to discover ways of getting an unusual photograph. Lamar, one of my fellow FLickr group members is notorious for lying down on the floor to get a photograph from a different angle. Steve H will kneel down using a low tripod to get his shot of a ceiling from as low down as possible. I have tried lying down twice and with a tripod once. Most of the time I dig my feet in widen my stance and lean back enough that I am not going to fall over.
