Phone Upgrade
Nov. 15th, 2012 01:19 pmOh my jolly goodnight!!! I upgraded my mobile phone package yesterday and my new handset was sat on my desk at work awaiting my arrival this morning even though I was quoted a delivery ETA of 3 – 5 working days.
I have gone for Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 smartphone. For £21.50 per month I have unlimited text messages, 250 O2-O2 minutes, 200 cross network & landline minutes and 500MB data.

It has a fast Dual Core 800MHz processor, 4GB embedded memory. Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread platform, a 5mpxl camera and numerous and fabulous applications I can download for free like Flickr, Facebook and LJ.
The LJ app should make it easier for posting on here and the Flickr app will allow me to post directly my mobile phone photos.
Also available is a Adobe PDF reader and a Kindle app so I can download books so I don’t have to buy a Kobo, Kindle or a nook now. Oh I know just whose books I can download now. YAY Happy Dance. ***DO DO DO DO, DO DO DO DO, DO DO DO DO, DO DO.***
No sorry I don’t have a picture of me doing my happy dance
To tell you the truth I am absolutely terrified with handling this new phone, I always am, usually thinking that I have made a mistake, but I have 14 days in which to make my final decision.
Considering my previous contract was £30.00 per month and paid in advance, the adjustments will be made on my next bill so I might not even have to pay anything for the first month.
Tre at work upgraded yesterday too going for a Samsung Galaxy SII instead for basically a similar package to me but from a different network. She was given a delivery ETA of 24 hours. So Tre was jumping around the office amused that the possibility that her phone would arrive first.
As of 13.15 this afternoon Tre’s new phone still has not been delivered, the network supplier addressed the parcel incorrectly and it is not likely to be delivered until tomorrow.
