Sorry I have been away so long
Nov. 24th, 2016 11:09 pmI must apologise to all my friends here on livejournal for being away so long but so much has happened in the last two years.
Firstly my brother in law passed away suddenly at the age of 56 In December 2014 and as he was my husbands sole remaining family member it was difficult for him to deql wih and so l had to take on a lot of the responsibilities alone such as arranging the funeral registering the death and as the estate executor, managing the estate settling probate and finally clearing and selling the estate property. What didnt help was time as l could only work at the house during the weekends. Until October 2015 l worked on the property clearing 40 years worth of a family household and the detritus of someone who was a hoarder. A large amount of clothing was donated to Banardos, furniture donated to British Heart Foundation and many other thing to other worthwhile charities. I sold the house this last Easter.
Secondly as l was just about ready to sort out the sale of the house, my beloved grandfather took ill and l spent all my time with him through his illness until he too passed on. Granndad was 95.
This post on my wordpress blog is about Grandad.

Also what hasn't helped with keeping up with this journal is access to a computer that wasn't monitored as mine is at work and my smartphone wasn't really conducive toposting messages on here. Truth be told trying to use the tiny keyboard and the issue with the formatting of the page was frustrating to say the least. Now l havea lovely tablet that will help once l have got the hang of things.
So to all my friends whomever and wherever you are Hello Again.
