Todays photographs
Feb. 15th, 2012 05:36 pmA couple of street photographs for you all today

This is one of the images I have in my exhibition at the moment. It was taken in October 2011 on the south Bank of the River Thames in London when my friend from Canada visited and we spent the day in London.

This one I took at the beautiful Bolsover Castle. These two ladies were trying to spot the derelict shell of Sutton Scarsdale Hall 1 mile away across the motorway.

This one is a gentleman at Nottingham's annual 1940's Knees Up celebration where many people dress in 1940's clothing and spend the day being entertained by musicians playing music from the 40's, sampling foods seeing exhibits of life during the 40's. Also because it is held in the grounds of The Museum of Nottingham Life which front some of the sandstone caves that lie beneath Nottingham and were used for Air Raid shelters during the Luftwaffer bombings in the early part of WWII mock air raids are held to show what our parents, grand parents and great grand parents experienced during those trying days 70 years ago.
