I did see. Which was the problem. They were wonderful pics, but god did they make me hungry. And hunger is the devil. Or maybe food is. One of the two.
Oh well. There's a (realatively) big street fair in my town every Mother's Day, and it is, offically, the only thing that EVER happens in town. Lots of street venders and mom-and-pop stuff, and it almost shut down a couple years ago because of the recession, but it's been gaining momentum again. But the food's all the awful deep fried stuff they have at fairs in the states.
I went to the state fair a couple years ago (a mistake), and in addition to being crowded beyond belief and unamazingly full of evanglists, had everything on Earth that could be deep fried, deep fried. And quite a few things I'd be better off knowing couldn't be.
Its traditional for us and many of the show men are local. There is such a range of food and all good although we do get the burger vans offering the typical hot dogs and ham burgers but also hot meat cobs (bread Rols/subs) stalls for candy, cotton candy, mushy peas, cock on a stick, noodles, food from around the world that is part of the fringe fair and the aromas are fantastic. You know I might just have to stop by one of the noodle vans this weekend when I pop down
