I know we don't have Big Ben but we have a clock with a bell thats the deepest in tone in the country and strikes the quarter hours called Little John.
We don't have St Pauls but we do have a council house built with a large dome of a similar style
We don't have the Tower of London but we do have a castle although the present building was built in 1600's but there are still foundations and walls built at the same time as the Tower.
We don't have the Thames but we do have the Trent and both are tidal rivers
But we do have a flotilla of boats every year when we have the Nottingham Festival
