Barry retired today. We had a party down in the lunch room and had loads of fun. The speach went marvelously. His gifts were Concert tickets to see the Hollies at Nottingham Royal Centre, a nice large wad of cash so he could buy what he wanted and a book of memories filled with 200 photographs very much like a year book of all the events and people over the last 27 year that he has been at GSB.

It was such a strange day me constantly sneaking out of the office to run errands for the party, collecting the food and arranging the buffet l hardly sat down and when l read the speech all that adrenalin made me shake like crazy.

Tomorrow we get a new member of staff. The office junior so it will be welcome to Cameron.
