In February 2006 Nottingham was named the new international culinary capital of Britain, according to results from the study carried out by Microsoft website MSN claiming the city had six restaurants representing different world cuisines in every square mile.
The Frequency of Overseas Dishes survey found that curry fans can visit a different Indian restaurant every month for three years.
City dwellers can also try a new chip shop each week for 18 months.
The research was conducted using MSN's Local Search website to find out how many restaurants and takeaways there are in each city across the UK.
This Forman Street picture shows only a few of those restaurants and takeaways on and thats on just one street.
