Kanasuta lake in the North-West of Quebec, between Ontario lines and Rouyn-Noranda, and is one of the nicest lakes in the Abitibi-Témiscamingue region.
It is renowned for its excellent water quality, its beauty with over 100 islands and its high suuccess rate in terms of fish capture and quality. You will certainly be enchanted by this beautiful lake and surroundings during your hunting, fishing or pleasure excursions.
Kanasuta Lake is made up of a group of 8 different lakes: Berthemet Lake, Desvaux Lake, Arnoux Lake, Larochelle Lake, Pinders Lake, Monarch Lake, Lost Lake and the largest Dessarat Lake, all accessible by boat. The three main lakes Berthemet, Desvaux and Dasserat Lakes are commonly called the " first ", " second " and " third " lakes, respectively. Together they are called Kanasuta Lake, which is fed by three major rivers: the Kanasuta, Clarice and Dasserat rivers.
Within a 20 kilometre radius there are 20 additional lakes in which the hunting and fishing is equally good there is also nearby an alpine ski centre named Mount Kanasuta.
