Busy day to break up
Apr. 5th, 2012 05:28 pmI have had a very busy and productive day today at work. I always do when I am breaking up for annual leave and it's a mad rush to get everything up to date.
Up to date, I sure am. Every single purchase invoice that I was able to clear has been and entered onto the accounts system. Purchase month end reports, factory production, courier and carrier reports and numerous others were completed also.
The highlight of my afternoon was preping all the upcoming payment for next week and arranging the BACS and selling two HGV vehicles, well not exactly selling them, I just processed all the paperwork, filling in all the forms, sending back all the discs, alerting the insurance, VOSA etc, etc, etc and all that is involved with selling a commercial vehicle in the UK. OH WHAT JOY. Fiddly little stuff too.
But at least my work is so squeakily up to date that should I have been going into work on Tuesday after the Easter holiday I would have been twiddling my fingers until the email invoices and the mail arrived.
I just hope JG remembers when it comes to payrise time (if there ever comes the time that is considering the company hasn't had a pay rise for nearly 3 years, Chuffin Ell! Is it that long?)
Now I am just twiddling my fingers waiting for 5.30 to arrive in 8 minutes then I'm outta here. Ta-rar duks see ya on 16th.
Let's just hope no one phones me when they can't find something.
